Key Features
Everything Built Into This Card Type
A complete set of capabilities — all accessible through the Fyatu Card Issuing API.
Instant Issuance
A single POST request to the Fyatu Cards API returns a fully provisioned virtual card — card number, expiry, and CVV — in under 500 milliseconds. No batch processing, no overnight provisioning, no card production queue. Issue one card or ten thousand cards in parallel; the API is built for high-throughput programmatic issuance at any scale your platform requires.
3D Secure 2.0
Every virtual card issued via Fyatu ships with full EMVCo 3D Secure 2.0 authentication, ensuring your cards are accepted on merchant sites that require SCA — including all European PSD2-regulated platforms and major global e-commerce sites. Risk-based authentication minimizes challenge friction for trusted devices while providing compliant step-up authentication when risk signals are elevated. No separate ACS integration required.
Tokenization
Virtual cards issued via Fyatu are eligible for Apple Pay and Google Pay tokenization from the moment of creation. Card credentials are tokenized at the network level — the device wallet stores a token, not the real PAN — reducing fraud risk while enabling tap-to-pay at NFC terminals globally via a card that exists only digitally.
Single-use Control
Issue single-use virtual cards that auto-cancel after the first authorized transaction. Each card carries a unique PAN, making single-use virtual cards ideal for supplier payments, B2B procurement, and any flow where re-use would expose your program to fraud or unauthorized charges.
Webhook Events
Receive real-time webhook events for every virtual card lifecycle state — issuance, authorization, settlement, refund, and cancellation. Each event payload includes the full transaction context, enabling instant ledger updates, user notifications, and fraud alerts without polling the Cards API.
Use Cases
Who Issues Virtual Cards
Industries and platforms building with this card type through the Fyatu Card Issuing API.
Ad Tech
Issue unique virtual cards per advertising account for Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok spend. Single-use or per-account cards make billing transparent, reconciliation automatic, and limit exposure to platform-level payment failures.
B2B Procurement
Replace purchase orders and wire transfers with single-use virtual cards issued per supplier transaction. Each card carries a unique PAN tied to a specific invoice, making accounts payable reconciliation deterministic.
Travel Booking
Issue unique virtual cards per booking for hotels, airlines, and car rental suppliers. Lodging cards can be locked to a single merchant and a specific amount, eliminating overspend and disputed charges on corporate travel accounts.
Subscription Services
Provide users with dedicated virtual cards for subscriptions, so a single compromised merchant cannot affect their primary payment method. Multi-use virtual cards with per-merchant locks are the ideal architecture for subscription isolation.
Developer Testing
Use Fyatu's sandbox environment to issue virtual test cards with configurable authorization behaviors — simulate declines, partial authorizations, and 3DS challenges without real transaction volume or real funds.
Virtual Wallets
Attach an instantly issued virtual card to every wallet account at creation, giving users a Visa or Mastercard credential from day one without any physical card fulfillment logistics.
