CARD PRODUCT

Define Your Card Product

A Card Product defines the type, network, and configuration for a set of cards issued under your program. Create multiple products — debit virtual, prepaid physical, multi-use — each with independent spend controls, MCC rules, and 3DS settings.

Architecture

What's Inside a Card Product

The components and capabilities that make up Card Product in the Fyatu card issuing platform.

CONFIG

Card Type Configuration

Define whether the product issues virtual cards, physical cards, or both. Set whether cards are single-use or multi-use, prepaid or debit-linked, and configure the card lifecycle rules.

VISA MC

Network Selection

Assign each Card Product to Visa, Mastercard, or both. BIN ranges, interchange categories, and authorization routing are configured per product — giving you full control over economics and acceptance.

Spend Controls

Set daily, weekly, and monthly spend limits at the product level. These apply as defaults to every card issued under this product and can be overridden per individual cardholder.

MCC Rules

Allow or block entire Merchant Category Codes at the product level. Restrict cards to specific use cases — travel only, software subscriptions, online purchases — enforced at authorization time.

3DS Settings

Enable or disable 3D Secure 2.0 per Card Product. Configure challenge exemptions, frictionless flow thresholds, and fallback behavior to balance security with conversion.
