API V3 Is Live: New Card Programs, Collections, Payouts, and eSIM API

Today we are launching Fyatu API V3 — a ground-up rebuild of our developer platform. V3 is faster, more consistent, and significantly more capable than anything we have shipped before.
Whether you are a fintech startup issuing cards, an e-commerce platform collecting payments, or a travel app provisioning eSIMs — V3 gives you everything from a single, unified API.
What Is New in V3
Card Issuing Programs
V3 introduces support for 5+ BIN programs across Visa and Mastercard through our Card Issuing platform. You can now issue:
- Virtual cards — instant creation via API
- Physical cards — with custom branding and global shipping
- Prepaid and debit card types
- Multi-currency cards in USD, EUR, GBP, and more
Each card supports 3D Secure, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and real-time transaction webhooks. You have full control over spending limits, merchant category restrictions, and card lifecycle.
Collection API
Accept payments from customers across Africa through a unified endpoint. Our Collection API supports:
- Mobile Money — MTN, Airtel, Orange, M-Pesa, and 20+ operators
- Bank transfers — direct debit from local bank accounts
- Crypto settlements — USDT and USDC on-ramp
- Card payments — Visa and Mastercard acceptance
